Sean was born in Mississauga, province of Ontario.

Sean attended the Vancouver Film School in 1993 and volunteered as an electrician on his first film shoot the following year. He currently works as a chief lighting technician on local feature films and television series. Over the past few years, Sean has also started to establish himself as a director of photography and has worked on numerous short films including "The Big Charade" for which he won the British Columbia Leo award in 2004 for best cinematography in a short film.

Damnation' is Sean's directorial debut. Sean has written another short film script and graphic novel and is currently penning these into a feature entitled 'Wretched'.
