Rajvinder was born and raised in England. After graduating from university, Rajvinder worked as a professional Youth Worker, Drama Worker, Housing Manager, Consultant and Project Manager for various non-profit organisations and a broadcast assistant for BBC local radio. Rajvinder entered the world of television in 1999, working her up to the roles of an assistant director and floor manager. She worked for numerous shows in production across the UK for both the BBC and Granada Television. She immigrated to Vancouver in 2003, working as an assistant director on a number of projects and transgressed into producing.
Rajvinder was an intern producer with Reunion Pictures on Showtime's 'Masters of Horror' during its first season. She co-produced the feature film, 'Normal', (Carl Bessai) starring Carrie-Anne Moss, Kevin Zegers and Callum Keith Rennie. 'Normal' premiered at the Toronto Film Festival 2007 and played at numerous festivals including Puscan and was nominated for a Genie (Canadian Oscar's) award. Rajvinder has produced three short films, including her first solo producer credit, 'Damnation', which was invited in official competition to Screamfest LA 2006, BIFFF 2007 and SITGES 2007. Rajvinder completed an 18 month term as a Development Executive at Reunion Pictures from 2008-9.
Rajvinder recently completed a development producer contract on the feature 'Monkey Beach' with Loretta Todd and her company Mama-oo Pictures, based upon the award winning novel by Eden Robinson.
Rajvinder is currently developing a dramatic feature 'The Happy People' with award winning Writer/Director Meghna Haldar due to shoot in India in 2012, as well as developing a documentary feature 'Breaking Taboos - Blue India' and a dramatic feature entitled 'Searching for Mr. Patel' which she is also penning.
